abstract submission guidelines

Note that SINAPSE ASM is an abstract-only conference. This means there will be no requirement to submit an extended abstract or full paper after your abstract has been accepted. Your accepted abstract will be the document that will be included in the conference book of abstracts.

Abstracts are managed through an external submission system. When you click on the submission link, you will be redirected to a different website where you can create an account and submit your abstract. Please ensure that you have downloaded the abstract template before submitting. Further information is provided below.

Important Information

Before submitting your abstract, thank you for paying attention to the following guidelines:

  • Your abstract (without the title and the list of authors) must not exceed 300 words (including spaces)
  • In order to easily prepare the proceedings, we ask you to prepare your text in Calibri, size 11, justify alignment, single spaced.
  • The abstract template is below (if you intend to submit two abstracts, please make two files).
  • Save the abstract template as a Word file (.doc or .docx) AND export it as a PDF file. Both document types are required for conference administration.
  • Rename the file(s) inserting your last name and the number 1 and 2 (for a second abstract) (i.e Smith1_SINAPSEASM2025_abstract.doc and Smith2_ SINAPSEASM2025_abstract.doc)
